Getting Started as a Seller

To sell on AltroScambio, you must first create an account and then register as a seller.

This additional step is required because selling on the platform involves providing information that is not needed for standard user accounts.

Once you have registered, simply click the [Sell Now] button located in the top-left corner of the platform.

If this is your first time registering as a seller, you will be guided through a straightforward setup process that collects the information needed to create your store and enable seller features.

You will be asked to provide details such as:

• Your store name (yes, you will be opening a store on the platform)

• A description of your store

• Your VAT registration details (to sell on AltroScambio, you must have an active Italian VAT number)

• Your contact information

• Registration with the platform's payment provider

Payment Setup with Mollie

AltroScambio uses Mollie as its payment service provider. At the end of the seller registration process, you will be asked to create a Mollie account.

This step is essential because Mollie is the platform through which you will receive payments for your sales. No alternative payment methods are available for seller payouts, so completing this registration is required.

The process is simple, fully guided, and designed to create a secure payment account that belongs exclusively to you. All you need to do is follow the instructions and complete the setup.

Store Approval Process

The seller registration process only needs to be completed once.

After you submit your application, AltroScambio will review your request according to the following process:

1. Store application review by the AltroScambio team.

   • If everything is in order, your application will be approved and you can start selling immediately.

   • If additional information or corrections are required, you will be notified and invited to submit an updated application.

2. Upload your products to the catalog.

3. Publish promotional content or announcements about your business, mission, or values to help the community get to know you.

That's it—you are now an AltroScambio seller.
