What Are Coupons?

Coupons are a promotional tool that allows sellers—or AltroScambio itself—to offer discounts and special promotions to customers making purchases on the platform.

A coupon typically consists of a promotional code that can be entered during the checkout process when placing an order.

How Do I Receive a Coupon?

Coupons may be issued directly by AltroScambio or created by individual sellers as part of their marketing and promotional initiatives.

To ensure authenticity and security, coupons are distributed exclusively through AltroScambio's official communication channels, which may include:

• The email address associated with your account (where the appropriate marketing consent has been provided)

• The AltroScambio messaging system

• Promotional banners displayed within the platform

How Does a Coupon Work?

A coupon provides a discount that is applied to one or more components of an order during the checkout process.

Depending on the promotion, a coupon may reduce or completely eliminate the cost of:

• One or more products

• Shipping charges

• Marketplace service fees

• Payment processing fees

The specific benefits, conditions, and application rules of each coupon will be clearly described in the communication accompanying the offer.

What Restrictions May Apply to a Coupon?

Each coupon is governed by the terms and conditions established by the organization or seller that issued it. These conditions will always be communicated clearly when the coupon is made available.

Common coupon restrictions may include:

• Validity Period – Coupons may only be redeemed within a specified timeframe. Once the expiration date has passed, the coupon can no longer be used.

• Usage Limits – Coupons may be redeemed a limited number of times, often only once per eligible customer.

Can a Coupon Be Converted into Cash?

No. Coupons cannot be exchanged for cash, credited to a bank account, or otherwise converted into monetary value.

Coupons are intended solely as promotional benefits associated with qualifying purchases and may only be redeemed during the checkout process.

If the value of a coupon exceeds the value of the discountable amount to which it is applied, any unused balance will be forfeited. Partial redemption does not entitle the customer to receive a refund, credit, or cash reimbursement for the unused portion of the coupon.

What Happens if I Return an Order Purchased with a Coupon?

If you return an order, or a specific item within an order, for which a coupon was used, the refund amount will be calculated based on the price actually paid after the coupon discount was applied.

Please note that any coupon used for the original purchase will be considered redeemed and will not be reissued, restored, or credited back to your account following the return.

As a result, the refund will reflect the discounted purchase price, and the coupon itself cannot be reused.
